Marra Farm- -A farm in South Park (Seattle area) generating
13,000 pounds of organic produce!
Growing Power - An amazing inner city gardening program
in Wisconsin (maybe too far to visit, but
a great website to inspire us). A 2 acre
farm in the middle of the city selling inexpensive
produce and donating to food banks, etc.
The Whidbey Institute is a non-profit that offers education to
serve the earth, spirit and human future.
They have a volunteer run garden and workshops
all year long offering gardening education.
They have work parties for new gardening
volunteers from 1-4pm every Friday.

DSIRE database of energy incentives
DSIRE is a comprehensive source of information
on state, local, utility, and federal incentives
and policies that promote renewable energy
and energy efficiency. Established in 1995
and funded by the U.S. Department of Energy,
DSIRE is an ongoing project of the N.C. Solar
Center and the Interstate Renewable Energy
Council.
